Usrah

The meaning of usrah as in the,

language is, Usrah = family

meaning is, Usrah = sharing of reminders

Yeah... Alhamdulillah Syukur as i was given the opportunity to lead usrah for YAQIN yesterday night. Not much time and knowledge that i was given.
Kinda of feeling embarrass as the people that came was the people that i looked up to.

Such as Bro Adi, Ustaz Ahma Sdadiqin, a new sister that i met, Sis Nadzirah..
*aww feeling honoured..Alhamdulillah...

The topic that i shared was on Sabar & Kesyukuran.. "Patience & Grateful".

Some of the experiences and thoughts that was shared
(sorry if its in malay. do pm me if u need the english version) :

1. There are 3 types of someone being patient.

* Patient in action, but still feeling frustrated in the heart
* Patient in the heart, but feeling frustrated physically
* Patient in both action and in the heart (redha)

Points shared by : ~ By Sis Nadzirah

2. Syukur atas syukur

3. Kita perlulah bersifat bersabar dalam kesenangan,
bukan hanya bila dalam kesusahan sahaja.

4. Situasi :

5. Tips shared : Keinginan yang minta dikabulkan,

-Buat solat malam untuk 40 hari terusan.
-Baik dari semua aspek.

Points shared by : ~ By Sis Hazwani

6. Apabila kita bersyukur, Allah akan tambah lebih.

7. Kesyukuran wujud dalam bentuk amal soleh.

8. Tiada usaha kecuali semua dicoba bungkus dgn kain kesabaran.

Tiada engkau melihat kedua2nya kecuali merupakan sebuah bentuk kebaikan.

Last words.....
Tabah terhadap segala dugaan,
Syukuri nikmat,
Lambang ketinggian iman umat

Yoga ban for Muslims in Malaysia?

Reported earlier : from asiaone health

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA - Muslims in Malaysia may be barred from practising yoga if they engage in Hindu 'religious elements' during the exercise, a top Islamic cleric said yesterday.

Mr Harussani Zakaria, a controversial cleric from northern Perak, said the government-backed National Fatwa Council would soon release a decree, or fatwa, on whether Muslims would be allowed to practise yoga.

'If it involves any faith or religious elements, it is definitely not permissible. But if it is just a form of exercise, that is all right.'

'Muslims cannot practise yoga in its original form because it involves another religion,
' he said in response to a call to ban Muslims from practising yoga.

Professor Zakaria Stapa, from the Islamic faculty of the National University of Malaysia, had said yoga could cause Muslims to 'deviate from their faith', news reports said yesterday.

Muslims in Malaysia practise it as part of the growing urban lifestyle and it involved 'chanting mantras while in various positions', he said.
